    7 Things To Say In Email Marketing To Grab Attention

    Email marketing is challenging because there are just so many companies now doing it. Many consumers have inboxes full of emails they simply never read. 

    So, what can you do to force higher open rates? How can you encourage people to take your email marketing more seriously? 

    Here’s our rundown: 

    1. Tell Them That They’re A Click Away

    The first strategy is to tell your customers that they are just a click away from the benefit that they want. This tactic basically tells them that they can get the thing that they’ve been hankering after for minimal effort. 

    It’s such a simple trick, but it works. Just make sure you deliver if they take you up on the offer, and that they really are just one click away. 

    2. Tell Them That An Offer Will Soon Expire

    You can also tell them that an offer they want is going to expire soon so they need to act fast. Again, this creates a sense of urgency and encourages audiences to take action to avoid missing out.

    3. Tell Them You Owe Them An Apology

    4. Talk About Secrets

    If you can link the secret to your particular product or industry, that’s even better. You want to see something mysterious until the user opens the email and explores what’s inside. 

    5. Tell Them You “Saved The Best for Last”

    Another thing you can do is tell customers that you’ve been saving the best until last, especially after a string of email communications with them. Again, this piques their curiosity and makes them want to explore what you have to offer even further. It also lets them know that they’ll probably get a reward if they click through right now. 

    6. Tell Them That Their Name Made Your List

    For this one, it doesn’t really matter what the list is. Again, you’re sparking curiosity and letting them know that they’re on something.

    What that list is is up to you. Ideally, you want something that is going to make them feel special and want to buy from you. 

    7. Tell Them It’s Free

    Finally, if all else fails, you can tell them that they can get something for free from you. Everyone loves free stuff, especially people checking their emails for shopping after a long week of work.
