You know that fantastic marketing can take your business to the next level. There are so many ways to effectively promote your business, whether you are using online platforms like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram or more traditional marketing methods like the newspaper or a billboard. Maybe your marketing for your business is already excellent, but aren’t you curious if there are other super creative and unique marketing ideas that you haven’t thought of yet. Below is a list of some creative marketing ideas that you may want to consider using. Maybe you have already thought of some of these ideas, or you already use them, but hopefully, you will find at least a few interesting ideas below that you may want to consider using in your marketing strategy.

  1. Twitter

Using the Twitter platform itself is not a unique marketing idea, but it is all about the way that you use the platform that can make all the difference. Let’s look at an example of a company that is creatively using Twitter.

Casper is a mattress company that writes its tweets as if it is the mattress that is tweeting them.

By making the tweets seem like they are coming from a mattress, it makes the tweets interesting, humourous, and more unique than if they just tweeted like they were a person who was tweeting. There are not a lot of mattresses tweeting on Twitter, so if you are looking to up your Twitter game start to think about how you can make your Twitter account as unique as Casper has made theirs.

  1. Commenting on Posts/Engaging with Your Audience

Engaging with your audience in a variety of ways, whether it be in person or on social media is another way for you to market your business. If you want some inspiration from a company that does a great job of engaging with its audience, then Wendy’s Twitter page is a great example.

Embed: <blockquote class=”twitter-tweet”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>That&#39;s what we call a glow up. <a href=”https://t.co/v6nWf7exyH”>https://t.co/v6nWf7exyH</a></p>&mdash; Wendy&#39;s (@Wendys) <a href=”https://twitter.com/Wendys/status/1217123276549427201?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>January 14, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src=”https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>

They frequently repost other peoples’ tweets and comment on them by being funny. They also engage with their audience by replying to a lot of tweets. Staying engaged with your audience and doing so by using a unique tone as Wendy’s does can be great for your marketing. Depending on your brand, the way you go about engaging with them may not be similar to the way Wendy’s does, but find your own creative way of engaging with your audience and your audience will most likely appreciate that you take the time to engage with them.

  1. Incorporating Offline Marketing With Your Online Marketing

Online methods like blogs and social media are not the only ways to market your business. Online methods are great, but perhaps consider using both offline and online methods if you don’t already. There are a variety of things that you can consider for offline marketing. One interesting idea is to create a custom patch that you can use to promote your business. Maybe you will decide to give them out, or perhaps you want to create merchandise that you attach the patch to. Whatever way you choose to use the patch, this is a great way that you can creatively market yourself.

  1. Creating a Podcast

Creating quality content that your target audience will enjoy is a great way to bring awareness to your business. Podcasts have grown in popularity, and they can be an excellent way for you to talk to your audience. A podcast that relates to your business and that creates engaging content around a subject that relates closely to your business can be quite useful. By talking about a subject that relates to your business, it can demonstrate to your customers/audience that you are knowledgeable in that area and can potentially help them see you as an expert in your field which could make them trust you more. Some examples of branded podcasts include “Slack Variety Pack” by Slack and “Why We Eat What We Eat” by Blue Apron.

If you are ready to try something new with the marketing for your business, then hopefully the ideas above have given you some inspiration for ways that you can do that. There are also many other creative and affordable ways that you can market your business. It doesn’t hurt to continue your research into other marketing ideas/trends, and maybe you will find another company that is marketing themselves in a creative way that gives you inspiration for a creative way to market your business.
