    How to Start Applying Ikigai Without Overthinking It

    It’s easy to get stuck trying to figure out your “perfect path,” but that usually just leads to more confusion. A simpler way is to test things out.

    Maybe that means trying something new on the side. For example, someone curious about helping others might explore hypnotherapy training or another skill-based path just to see how it feels in practice. Similarly, someone might decide to try their hand at creative skills on the side, like doing freelance web design or art commissions to test the waters.

    Those small experiments tend to give you more useful answers than sitting and thinking about it for weeks. You learn what clicks, what doesn’t, and what feels worth pursuing a bit further.
