5 Ways You Can Promote Your Company To A Wider Audience

Photo by bruce mars on Unsplash

Whether you are a new company or have been running your small business for several years, you should constantly strive to promote yourself and your services to a wider audience. Doing so can help your company grow from strength to strength, increasing your financial prospects alongside allowing you to explore new business opportunities.

With that in mind, here are some creative ways in which you can promote your company to a wider audience!

    1: Send Out Promotional Products

Whenever a customer makes a purchase, why not include a small promotional product in the order? A promotional product is an item that includes your company’s logo. Whenever the customer uses this product, they will be helping promote your brand to those around them  – which could help you increase sales. For example, you could gift customers with gaiters with your company logo.

2: Make The Most Of Social Media

Your social media account allows you to connect with potential customers in just a single click of a mouse, therefore you should ensure you have a strong online presence. The most useful social media channels for your brand are likely:

    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • Twitter

Each of these can allow you to build a following and encourage customers to make a purchase by advertising your products. You should ensure that you post consistently and engage with your followers – responding to any of their questions quickly. Doing so allows you to develop a stronger relationship with your customers, and demonstrate your professionalism.

3: Encourage Customers To Share Their Experiences

Whenever a customer makes a purchase, encourage them to leave a review or share information about their purchase online. When the reviews are positive, this allows you to present your product in a positive light, and new customers will know that you are a brand they can trust. If a review is negative, it allows you to make necessary changes and offer the customer a replacement/refund – thus repairing a potentially damaged relationship. Either way, you are building a foundation of trust between yourself and customers, which means they will be more likely to recommend you to their friends.

    4: Improve your content management

When a new potential customer visits your website, you want them to find a clear, engaging online presence with plenty of information and content for them to browse. As you promote your company to a wider audience, and your business begins to grow, it’s important that all your content stays looking great and functioning as efficiently as possible, keeping loading times fast. If you’re already on the platform, consider a Drupal Upgrade, or make sure you’re consistently reevaluating how your content is managed and if this needs to be streamlined.

    5: Start a blog

A blog focused on creating content surrounding your company or the industry you work within is another great way to increase website traffic and encourage more people to make a purchase from your company. When writing a blog, you may wish to ask yourself the following questions:

    • Who is my target audience? Does the audience for my blog differ slightly from my usual audience? Why?
    • When should I post content? (What time does your blog receive the most traffic)
    • What kind of content does my target audience want to see? What kind of content do they not want to see?
    • Should I bring in an interesting guest blogger?
    • What can I teach my readers?
    • Am I utilizing SEO best practices, or should I bring an SEO agency on board?
    • What information can I give them about the company/or my products that they wouldn’t find anywhere else?
