    Endeavour Magazine March 2017

Spring is in the air once more for those of us in the northern hemisphere – a most welcome development, as I’m sure you’ll agree if you also hail from these parts. For those of our readers in the southern hemisphere, I’m sure you won’t begrudge us breathing a sigh of relief at the change in season. It’s been a long winter, after all!

Whether you are drifting into Spring or Autumn, we are all entering a time of year characterised by rebirth and renewal – a fitting subject, in light of recent events around the world. In business as in politics, change continues to occur rapidly, to the extent that it can be hard to keep up with the pace. Who’d have thought only 6-months ago that China would step forward as a champion of globalisation whilst the United States turns away and turns inward? Just by taking a glance at the headlines, it is clear to see that 2017 will be tumultuous and fast-moving. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing! Like you, we at the Littlegate Publishing office are watching with bated breath to see what unfolds next.

In this month’s issue of Endeavour we have once more caught up with a number of companies and organisations from around the world to bring you their stories, and some of the key headlines from the global business news.

Among these are Gibraltar Port Authority, which has succeeded in creating a commercial venture which is worthy of the peninsula’s substantial maritime heritage. Also, we sat down with SuperPharm, also of Trinidad & Tobago, to find out how in little more than 10-years they have succeeded in revolutionising the pharmacy retail sector, and last but by no means least, you can read more about the incredible Emirates Palace – Abu Dhabi’s signature seven-star landmark, which is recognised the world over for being the world’s most luxurious hotel.

We’re also excited to have gotten the chance to speak to Rob Manley, the young founder of up-and-coming London-based glow clothing brand, Illuminated Apparel. Since Rob’s successful appearance on the hit BBC show, Dragons Den, his company enjoyed rapid growth and rising fortunes. Rob’s story is one of what can be achieved with hard-work, determination, and self-belief – we hope you find it as inspiring as we have.

As always, we hope you enjoy this month’s issue of Endeavour Magazine as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.
