Cinia Group begins laying a new submarine data cable Sea Lion in Helsinki, Finland on October 12, 2015. The Helsinki end of the cable is brought to shore from cable laying ship Ile de Brehat. The new fiber optic cable will cross the Baltic Sea from Helsinki to Rostock, a distance of 1,170 kilometers.
